only one more orientation just around the corner!

Dear Andy’s Community,

We have one orientation left and they are filling up fast! With two weeks to go for our April 16th orientation at Temple Town Hall from 12pm-4pm, it’s important you know how to prepare.

First and foremost: Enrollment is not necessary in order to attend!

Orientations are free and open to all who are interested in what Andy’s is about. At the orientations, families will receive calendars of our programming and are given the opportunity to enroll on site. Families can also choose to enroll online in advance at andyssummerplayhouse.org/to-enroll

The orientation will take place from 12pm-4pm and participants are asked to attend the entire 4 hour session. If there is a conflict that asks participants to leave early, we just ask you notify us ahead of time.

In order to complete your enrollment process into our summer season, you must attend an orientation. Orientations have replaced our auditions and are our way of getting to know the young artists and placing them into the show that best fits their schedule and interests.

At orientation, children will participate in acting and design workshops led by our professional staff. These workshops focus on acting, design, improvisation, ensemble, puppetry, media, vocal work, physical work, and scene study. This is a great way for families to interact with our staff and for our staff get to know the children!

All families and staff spend the first 30 minutes discussing the summer programming and then parents are asked to attend a 30 minute parent orientation at either the beginning or end of the orientation. Parent information sessions will be held at 12:30-1pm and 3:30-4pm.
